Residents are to either boil drinking and cooking water vigorously for at least two minutes or use bottled water.
The county is conducting water sampling in the affected area. The advisory will remain in effect until the results of the samples show the water is safe. An All-Clear Advisory will be issued.
The boil advisory is a precautionary measure. The likelihood of contamination is “extremely minimal,” according to Chris Brausch, director of the county water and sewer department. For more information, call 513-695-1377 from 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
