“Come From Away”
The longest-running Canadian musical in Broadway history tells the true story of the commercial airplanes that were forced to land in the town of Gander in Newfoundland in the weeks following the 9/11 attacks. The Gander natives housed and fed 7,000 stranded travelers, and the musical has been received as a happy reminder of how kindness triumphs over hate. This annual event celebrates all things fantasy and sci-fi, including comics, movies and television.
