In addition, the added capacity positions the county to profit from water sales in Montgomery County and to Western Water, another provider in Warren County.
The county’s water and sewer department serves the villages of Corwin, Harveysburg, and Maineville, as well as portions of Clear Creek, Deerfield, Franklin, Hamilton, Turtle Creek, Union, and Wayne townships.

On Tuesday, with Commissioner Tom Grossmann absent, commissioners Dave Young and Shannon Jones gave the go-ahead to sign the contract with AECOM.
AECOM, through an office in Columbus, is to manage subcontractors and complete the preliminary design by January 2020. The project should be onperational by October 2021, Assistant County Engineer Chris Wojnich said on Tuesday.
