The busiest day of back-to-school season is today, Aug. 16, as six of Butler County’s 10 public school districts begin welcoming students to their first day of classes.
School districts starting classes today are: Lakota, Monroe, Talawanda, New Miami, Ross, and Madison’s Junior/Senior High School.
Edgewood Schools will welcome students back to school Thursday. Hamilton Schools started classes Monday.
Next week, Madison Elementary School will welcome students Aug. 21; Middletown City Schools will start a new school year Aug. 22; and Miami University will be moving in first-year students Aug. 24.
Fairfield Schools will not start until Sept. 5 due to ongoing construction projects in the district.
