Woman killed in early morning Fairfield Twp. crash

A single-vehicle crash early today in Fairfield Twp. claimed the life of the driver, according to police.

Officers were dispatched to Ohio 129 just west of Hampshire Drive at about 1:50 a.m. for a crash.

A 2010 Chevy was traveling east on Ohio 129 when the vehicle went off the right when it went off the right side of the roadway and rolled, ejecting the adult female driver, according to Fairfield Township Police. The woman was transported to UC West Chester and later pronounced dead.

Fairfield Township Police Department, Hamilton Police Department, and members of the Butler County Serious Traffic Accident Crash Team were at the scene and the crash remains under investigation.

Notification was made to the Butler County Coroner’s Office and additional information will be provided when available for release, police said.
