A 17-year-old boy is accused of attempting abduction and groping at a Cincinnati-area grocery store.

The teen groped an 11-year-old girl and a 12-year-old girl around 10 p.m. Sunday inside a Kroger store along state Route 128 in Whitewater Twp., then walked away and groped a 10-year-old girl and grabbed her arm before the girl freed herself and ran to her mother, according to the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office.

The girl and  her mother spotted the suspect in the parking lot, and several bystanders chased him and  held him until deputies arrived, our news partner, WCPO-TV in Cincinnati reported.

“He wasn’t getting away,” Nicholas Hisle of Whitewater Twp., who was among several people who chased the teen into the woods, told WCPO. “Even if we had to tromp through the woods to the river. It took us maybe 5 seconds to decide, ‘we’re going into these woods.’”
