Inmate allegedly elbows another inmate while waiting for a shower, now faces new assault charge

An inmate in the Middletown City Jail was charged with assault recently after he allegedly struck another inmate with his right elbow while the men were waiting for a shower.

The video showed that Jeffrey Lee allegedly started a fight with another inmate while they were in the access hallway waiting for a shower, the report said. The victim was bleeding from his nose and had minor swelling on his face when the fight ended, the report read.
