A Fairfield pet store is asking for the public’s helping after a puppy was reported stolen Thursday night.
Surveillance video from the Dixie Highway Petland showed a woman carrying the puppy, a male morkie, around the store.

“We are very concerned about the well-being of our puppy,” the store posted on Facebook. “He is very small and without proper veterinarian care, his health could be jeopardized.”
Anyone who recognizes the woman or has news on the puppy should contact police.
The store also reported that police may already have a lead in the case.
