Deputies seized over a quarter ounce of crack cocaine, a large amount of pills, $1,200 in cash, drug paraphernalia and a handgun, according to the sheriff’s office.
“Mr. Simmons is no stranger to our system; he has a lengthy arrest record and continues to be part of the vermin in this county,” said Butler County Sheriff Richard K. Jones.
Simmons is charged with felony trafficking in drugs and two counts of felony possession of drugs.
Beckman, of Mason, was arrested on an outstanding warrant for contempt of court through Hamilton Municipal Court.
