A bank robber, described as a light-skinned black male by witnesses, stole an undisclosed amount of cash from First Financial Bank on South Gilmore Road in Fairfield.

A bank robber, described as a light-skinned black male by witnesses, stole an undisclosed amount of cash from First Financial Bank on South Gilmore Road in Fairfield.

Police are still asking for the public’s help as they investigate a bank robbery during which the suspect pointed a handgun at a First Financial Bank teller.

The suspect came into the bank just before 11 a.m. on Thursday with a red hooded jacket and his face covered, demanding money, threatening the bank tellers with a gun.

Police said he did not display a note and got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.

He fled on foot, and police believe he had a getaway car waiting at a professional business park next door.
