$10,000 reward offered after classic car stolen from dealership

A reward is being offered for a bright red vintage car stolen from the parking lot of a Fairfield Twp. dealership.

The 1968 Pontiac Firebird was reported stolen Tuesday night from Fiehrer Motors on Gilmore Drive, according to the Fairfield Township Police Department.

The classic car, owned by Daniel Fiehrer since 1991, was taken between Saturday and Monday afternoon. A battery that belonged inside the vehicle was still sitting in the parking lot.

Sgt. Jamison Mays said a detective has been assigned to the case and is investigating.

A $10,000 reward is being offered for the “arrest, conviction and return” of the vehicle, according to the dealership’s Facebook page.
