Thousands in the Miami Valley are without power after storms with winds up to 60 mph swept through several counties.

DP&L’s outage map estimates that a total of 12,880 customers are without power. 5,602 customers in Montgomery County, 4,597 customers in Greene County, 1,145 customers in Preble County and 1,032 customers in Shelby County all reported outages, as well as just under 150 customers in Clark County all reported outages.

Duke Energy reported that 4,340 customers in Butler County and 2,560 customers in Warren County do not have power.
