The effort by some to give up alcohol for the first month of the year will soon be under way.

The Dayton Daily News, Journal-News and Springfield News-Sun are looking for those planning to participate in Dry January to share with us why they are giving up alcohol for the upcoming month and the best places to get non-alcoholic beverages in the region.
