The first Hamilton resident has tested positive for the coronavirus, according to city officials.
The woman is in her late 50s and is hospitalized at an undisclosed location. Results were returned either late Saturday or early Sunday.
The people who were in contact with her are quarantined in their homes with no contact allowed with others, officials said. The quarantined people are reporting their temperatures to health authorities twice per day.
The hospitalized woman’s occupation was not released.
