GUIDED BY VOICES

Dayton's very own indie rock legends, Guided by Voices, reunited in 2016 after a second disbanding. Led by prolific singer/songwriter Robert Pollard, they released their 24th album (and Pollard's 100th overall), "August By Cake," last April. “DECADES REWIND”

HANOVER WINERY FESTIVAL

This local winery throws a wine tasting festival every year. Wood-fired pizza and live music will also be available, and you should bring a chair and blanket. MIDWEST REGIONAL BLACK FAMILY REUNION

This annual three-day event that celebrates the values of the black family will include a prayer breakfast, celebrity speakers such as Wendell Pierce ("The Wire"), a parade, vendors, a job fair, and an R&B and gospel concert that includes Midnight Star, 2nd Wind, and the Pastor Shirley Caesar.
