The NACo advocates on national policy for the nation's 3,069 county governments, holds a national conference for commissioners to set legislative priorities and provides a forum for the exchange of ideas on leadership and solutions to county problems.

"I look forward to bringing the best of Ohio to NACo and bring the best tools from around the county to Ohio and Montgomery County," Lieberman said in a written statement.
