Donald Trump team: Paul Ryan not fit to be speaker

In an interview with CNN Friday, Donald Trump spokes person Katrina Pierson said Paul Ryan is not fit to be speaker if he can't support Trump as the Republican nominee.

Earlier this week Ryan said he wasn't ready to back Trump. The comments were the biggest case yet of a Republican leader not falling in line with the party.

As speaker of the House, Ryan is also the highest ranking Republican in the federal government and will be the chair of the Republican National Convention in Cleveland in July.

"He talks about unity but what is this about unity?" Trump said of Ryan in a nationally broadcast interview. "With millions of people coming into the party, obviously I'm saying the right thing."
