"The only way to beat the corruption is to show up and vote," Trump said, as he urged backers to spin an upset in Nevada, where the GOP nominee has been trailing in most polls.
Trump again praised the actions of FBI Director James Comey, who dropped a surprise letter on the race for White House last Friday, in saying that new emails had been discovered, which might be related to the Clinton email investigation.
"Now the Department of Justice is fighting the FBI," Trump told his Sunday morning rally in Vegas. "That's because the Department of Justice is trying to hard to protect Hillary Clinton."
As for Clinton, her campaign team used the Sunday shows and social media to push back against the FBI Director.
"FBI Director Comey owes the American people an explanation," Clinton said via her Twitter account, telling supporters, "this is not a re-opening of the emails case."
"There's a lot of noise and distraction," Clinton said at a rally in Florida on Sunday afternoon, as she tried to move past the FBI tiff, and returned to some of her tough talk about Trump.
"We've got a choice between a President who will bring us together," Clinton said, "or someone who is temperamentally unfit and totally unqualified for the job."
On Saturday night, Clinton joined with singer Jennifer Lopez in Miami to rally her supporters in south Florida.
Clinton will stump for votes in Ohio on Monday, while Trump holds two rallies in Michigan.
