Butler County dispatch said the fire was reported at 3:35 p.m. as being an engulfed attic fire at a residence in the 1100 block of Vine Street.
The fire reportedly displaced three adults and five children who were living in the residence, according to a dispatcher. said.
The dispatcher said the fire was quickly knocked down and that there were no injuries reported.
