Krause completed 25 of 44 passes for 259 yards, three touchdowns and one interception, also running one time for 10 yards and punting twice for a 33-yard average. Brunis was on the receiving end of all three scores and totaled 12 catches for 120 yards.
Freshman wide receiver T.C. Wells also saw action for Davenport. Redshirt sophomore defensive end Tony Stephens and freshman D-end Todd Ross did not play.
Brunis and Stephens are both transfers from Ohio University.
For Taylor, senior Blake Wheeler (Middletown Christian) started at linebacker and had one assist.
Both teams will return to action Saturday, Davenport at Kentucky Christian at 1:30 p.m. and Taylor at Malone at 3 p.m.
Volleyball: Senior libero/defensive specialist Madeline Garda (Lakota East) paced Bowling Green with 57 digs last weekend as the Falcons went 1-2 in their season-opening Hampton Inn Invitational.
Garda added eight assists and two service aces for BGSU, which defeated Virginia Commonwealth while losing to Oakland and 23rd-ranked Louisville.
The Falcons will host the BGSU Invitational on Friday and Saturday, facing IPFW on Friday at 7 p.m. and Northern Kentucky on Saturday at 5 p.m.
Women's soccer: Redshirt freshman midfielder Shelby Gillespie (Lebanon) has one assist for Toledo, which is off to a 1-2 start.
The Rockets will be at home against Northern Kentucky on Friday at 4 p.m.
