Police investigating body found in roadway as homicide

Middletown police are investigating the death of a man found in the roadway early this morning as a homicide, according to Lt. Scott Reeve.

The man was found dead about 12:30 a.m. in a residential community at Lefferson Road and Sheffield Street.

There are no arrests, according to Reeve, who declined to release more details.

Identification will be released after autopsy at the Butler County Coroner’s Office, Reeve said.
