After escorting the women out of Bar Boca, 124 Charles St., the guard was punched and struck with an object, causing swelling and bleeding to his forehead, according to a Middletown police report.
The guard told police the women tried to get into the bar, but they didn’t show any identification. They told him they would use the restroom, then leave, he said.
Police are continuing to investigate.
