Margaret Clem graduated from Lakota West High School in 2013 and is currently working toward earning her bachelor’s degree from the University of Cincinnati.
Cody Hall graduated from Edgewood High School and the University of Cincinnati, where he received his bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice earlier this year.
William Schlie is a graduate of Moeller High School and the University of Cincinnati. Before earning his bachelor’s degree, he enlisted in the United States Army where he served from 2005 until his honorable discharge in 2008. He has worked as a Hamilton County dispatcher since 2012.

All four officers have an effective hiring date of July 31 contingent upon the successful completion of the hiring process. Clem, Hall and Schlie will attend the Scarlet Oaks Police Academy in August to obtain their OPOTA certification.
These hires fill vacancies created as a result of retirements and promotions in the West Chester Police Department.
