On Jan 22, officer Drew Aspacher was in his cruiser with the overhead lights activated when a pickup truck hit the cruiser.
The truck went off the side of the road and into the media, while the cruiser spun around into a driveway and front yard.
Aspacher and the driver of the pickup truck, Jodie Gabbard, 46, of Middletown, were taken to local hospitals.
Aspacher was treated and released.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
