In part, a letter by the company reads: “The unfortunate circumstances are, as a new business, we were not able to make it past the many financial hurdles that we faced. The need to close our office became a reality two weeks ago. We spent the last two weeks working to find a solution to change the course of things, however, we were unsuccessful.”

A Fairfield addiction rehabilitation center closed last week, leaving patients searching for a new place to receive services.
White Stone Psychiatric and Addiction Services, 5108 Sandy Lane, closed permanently on April 20, according to a sign posted on the door. The sign lists other rehabilitation centers in the area.
A man on White Stone’s phone message said it was with “a great deal of sadness” that the center had to close and it was an “honor and blessing” to serve patients for the year it was open.

The voicemail also told patients that in case of an emergency, patients should call 911 or visit the emergency room.
White Stone provides “compassionate and encouraging treatments” to adults seeking restoration from the brokenness caused by addiction, trauma, and psychiatric illness, according to its website.
