Cincinnati Bengals rookie wide receiver John Ross was a full participant for the third consecutive practice Thursday, putting him on pace to play Sunday against Indianapolis.

Ross has not played since re-aggravating a knee injury in Week 2 against Houston.

Cornerbacks Adam Jones (back) and Darqueze Dennard (shoulder) and safety Derron Smith (ankle) also were full participants Thursday after being limited on Wednesday.

And H-back Ryan Hewitt returned to the practice field for the first time since suffering a knee injury in Week 4 at Cleveland. Hewitt was listed as limited, which means his return to game action is probably another week away.

Wide receivers Tyler Boyd (knee) and Cody Core (concussion) and linebacker Kevin Minter (elbow) did not practice and are not expected to play Sunday.

Four Colts sat out Thursday — quarterback Andrew Luck (shoulder), cornerback Rashaan Melvin (concussion), linebacker John Simon (neck) and running back Frank Gore (rest day).

Safeties Darius Butler (ankle) and T.J. Green (hamstring), center Ryan Kelly (knee/pelvis) and defensive tackle Al Woods (knee) were limited.
