But now that it's taken on a life of its own (and looks like it's legitimately going to happen), I find it downright hilarious.
RELATED: Fans raise enough money for parade if Browns go 0-16
I won’t go to the parade if it happens. An imperfect (0-16) season isn’t something to celebrate. I so hate that my beloved Brownies will soon, officially and statistically, go down in the record books as one of the worst teams of all time.
But I always enjoy a snarky, troll-so-hard effort like this. And here’s why:
This ownership group deserves to hear — and see — every bit of vented frustration from this fan base and to have it, quite literally, paraded in front of their faces which are soon to be dripping with (0-16) egg for running a once-proud, bedrock NFL franchise into the ground. Even by their post-1999 and Haslam-era standards, this is an all-time low. Poor Paul Brown is spinning in his grave.
And after all, we Browns fans must have a sense of humor these days and laugh at the product on the field. Otherwise, if we took our colossal joke of a football team seriously, we’d cry.
