The accident occurred at around 3 p.m.
The Mazda driver was a 73-year-old male and the Jeep was driven by a 27-year-old male.
Both drivers and Zareker are all from Mason and were taken to West Chester Hospital, where Zareker was pronounced dead.
Zareker died of multiple traumatic injuries, according to the Butler County Coroner’s Office.
