Playboy founder Hugh Hefner, who died yesterday at age 91, brought several models from Ohio to the pages of the magazine he founded in 1952.

At least 28 women from Ohio have posed in Playboy from 1969 through 2007, according to an article on HubPages.

Most of the women who have appeared in the magazine hailed from the Cleveland area but at least four women from the Dayton area have posed for Playboy as have one from Columbus and one from Cincinnati, according to HubPages.
