Power restored in Middletown this morning

UPDATE @ 10:45 A.M.

Middletown dispatchers report power has been restored to the east side of the city. Officials said a transformer blew in the area at around 7:15 a.m. and power was restored by 8 a.m.

Middletown police say there is a large power outage on the east side of the city this morning and they’re asking people to use caution.

“There is a large power outage in the east end of town running from Central and Breiel all the way to Lewis and Breiel. There are some large intersections without power and you know what that means……..EVERYONE STOPS!!! Please treat intersections without power as a 4-way stop.”
