Woman’s body found in Middletown; death investigation underway

Police found the body of a woman Sunday afternoon in a wooded area near Wilbraham Road in Middletown.

Her family, who reported her missing a few days ago, has been notified, but Chief Rodney Muterspaw said his department would not be releasing her name at this time. The chief did not say who alerted them to the woman’s body.
