Police: 2 shot in Middletown, 2 suspects sought

UPDATE @ 10:52 p.m.: Two people have been shot and Middletown police are looking for two male suspects who are considered to be armed and dangerous, an officer said.

The victims have been taken to Atrium Medical Center. Their injuries are not believed to be life threatening, the officer said. The officer did not say whether the victims are male or female.

No word on a possible motive or what happened at the address in the 3100 block of Mohawk Street that led to the shooting.

A shooting has been reported in the 3100 block of Mohawk Street.

Middletown police and medic units were dispatched just after 9:30 p.m. on the report.
