Bengals/Reds fan with iconic beard arrested for drug trafficking

UPDATE @ 5 p.m.:

According to the Warren County Drug Task Force, Faulkner bought five pounds of marijuana from an undercover cop for $2,000 per pound. The sale took place at Schappacher Park in Deerfield Twp.

“He believed this marijuana was coming in from out of state,” Maj. Steve Arrasmith told our news partner WCPO. “There is always a market for those looking for higher-end marijuana.”

A local man well known at Reds and Bengals games for his hopped-up beard is now in the Warren County jail after being arrested on drug charges.

Garey Faulkner is charged with trafficking drugs and drug abuse in Warren County. He’s currently awaiting arraignment, according to the Warren County Sheriff’s Office.

In September, he won first place at the National Beard and Moustache Championships in Nashville, according to our news partner WCPO.
