FC Cincinnati soccer team reschedules visit to Hamilton

Players from the professional soccer team FC Cincinnati have changed the date of their scheduled visit to Hamilton.

Instead of visiting local youth at the Salvation Army on Thursday, the soccer pros will be in town Friday, July 14, according to officials with the Salvation Army.

The event, called “Kicking It,” is tied to helping get back-to-school supplies for those in need this fall.

“It will be one hour of fun and games and is open to Butler County youth,” Kara Bray of the Salvation Army said.

She added that the admission is free, but people are being asked to bring a child’s school backpack or school supplies to donate to children less fortunate in the community.

The Salvation Army is located at 235 Ludlow St. in Hamilton.
