Baby hippo Fiona reunited with her mom at Cincinnati Zoo

Fiona, the Cincinnati Zoo’s beloved baby hippo, has been reunited with her mom without a barrier between them.

Fiona has two areas where she can exit the room when she visits her mom, Bibi, the Cincinnati Zoo says.

Her care team supervises the short interactions, zoo officials said.

Fiona, who was born prematurely, is up to 291 pounds, zoo officials said.
