The same system moved through the Miami Valley and prompted multiple tornado warnings, but no significant damage was reported here.

A church in McCracken County, Kentucky, near Paducah sustained significant damage with preschoolers inside after a suspected tornado came through the area, CBS affiliate KFVS-TV reported.

Nearly 40 children and several adults were in the church when the tornado tore the roof off the building, but no injuries were reported.
A deputy in his cruiser also escaped injury when the storm came through.
“At one point I just saw the wind and all the trees started picking up, and the power lines coming out of the ground, then it just hit my car and turned it on its side,” McCracken County Sheriff’s Office Sgt. Ryan Wilcutt said.
“Then debris just started slamming off the side of my car.”
“I’ve never been hit by Mother Nature like this. This was definitely the closest call for me,” Wilcutt said.
In Brownstown, Indiana, located about 80 miles south of Indianapolis, emergency managers are helping with clean up and working with the National Weather Service to see if damage was caused by a tornado after trees were ripped out of the ground and debris scattered across the area, CBS affiliate CBS4 in Indianapolis report.
“We're all family out here and it's just what you do to help each other out,” Duane Davis, Director of Emergency Management Jackson County told the station. “It might have been a weak tornado, (that caused the damage). either way damage is damage,” Davis said.
