Week 10 Roundup: New Miami completes perfect regular season

New Miami completed its first undefeated regular season in school history on Friday with a 49-14 road win at Lockland in Miami Valley Conference play.

The Vikings finished 7-0 in MVC play.

The state playoff pairings will be announced Sunday, but according to joeeitel.com, the Vikings will host a Division VII, Region 28 playoff game on Saturday, Nov. 9, as the No. 1 seed.

Lakota East 21, Hamilton 14: Quarterback Mark Krajewski threw a touchdown pass and ran for a score as the Thunderhawks edged the Big Blue in Greater Miami Conference play.

Tavier Lugo-Flowers added 127 yards on the ground for East (5-5, 4-4 GMC).

Kaleb Johnson rushed for 116 yards and a TD for Hamilton (5-5, 3-5). Despite the loss, Hamilton is headed to the playoffs for the first time since 2010. According to joeeitel.com, Big Blue will travel to Fairfled on Friday night for a D-I, Region 4 quarterfinal on Friday night. East finished 10th in the region.

Badin 27, McNicholas 3: Alex Delong paced Badin with 116 rushing yards and two touchdowns. Zach Switzer added a TD throw to Joshua Hegemann and the Badin defense picked off three passes. The Rams (7-3) are in the state playoffs and will host Ross in a D-III, Region 12 on Friday night, according to joeeitel.com.

Franklin 35, Oakwood 0: Gage Johnson ran for two of his three rushing touchdowns in the first quarter to spur Franklin (9-1). Braden Woods added two touchdowns, one passing and one rushing. The Wildcats will host St. Marys Memorial in a D-III, Region 12 playoff game on Friday, according to joeeitel.com.

Lakota West 41, Middletown 13: The Firebirds finished 7-3 overall and 6-2 in the GMC with the win over the Middies (1-9, 0-8). West will face Elder in a D-I, Region 4 quarterfinal next Friday, according to joeeitel.com,

Fairmont 28, Lebanon 8: Tank Gant racked up 144 yards on the ground with two touchdowns and Male'k Hillon added 118 rushing yards with one score for Fairmont, which finished 4-6 after an 0-5 start to the season. Keith Farr had the lone touchdown for Lebanon in its last Greater Western Ohio Conference game.

Fenwick 42, Carroll 20: Braden Listermann threw three touchdowns and Jordan Rucker had two rushing and two receiving scores to lead Fenwick.

Springboro 37, Centerville 6: Titan Case caught two touchdowns from Landon Palmer and Timmy Keseday tacked on a pair of rushing touchdowns to help Springboro close the regular season at 9-1. Brendan Salo kicked two field goals for Centerville. The Panthers will travel to Dublin Jerome next Friday for a D-I, Region 2 playoff quarterfinal, according to joeeitel.com.

Waynesville 24, Madison 21: Jake Amburgy scrambled for a 58-yard TD run in the fourth quarter to help Waynesville put the game away, finishing with a 9-1 record and a Southwestern Buckeye League Buckeye division title.
