HS Roundup 12/6: Valley View girls knock off Oakwood

Chloe Smith scored 19 points to lead four players in double-digit scoring for Valley View in a 74-58 girls basketball win versus Oakwood on Thursday.

Aubrey Stupp added 17 points, Megan Black 12 and Abigail Dickson 10 for Valley View.

Lauren Hapgood had 21 points and Margie Conrath 17 for Oakwood.

Arcanum 68, Bethel 38: Taylor Gray totaled 20 points with 12 rebounds for Ansonia, marking her fourth double-double in five games.

Bradford 67, Ansonia 33: Alexis Barhorst tallied 17 points and Bianca Keener 16 for Bradford. Keirra Reichert paced Ansonia with 10 points.

Catholic Central 44, Southeastern 33: Abbigail Peterson and Foster each pitched in 13 points to lead the way for Catholic Central.

Eaton 58, Brookville 22: Bailey Shepherd scored 26 points to pace Eaton.

Legacy Christian 65, Dayton Christian 23: Emma Hess had 23 points to lead Legacy Christian.

Mechanicsburg 65, Northeastern 19: Grace Forrest finished with 19 points and Emma Violet added 10 to lead ‘Burg. Amy Stewart scored 10 points for Northeastern.

Miamisburg 48, West Carrollton 27: Anna Long led ‘Burg with 18 points, Olivia Hammerle had 13 and Addison Frymoyer 10.

Miami East 57, Tri-County North 19: Morgan Hanley had 21 points with six steals and Camryn Miller added 15 points with six steals and six boards for Miami East.

Milton-Union 52, Carlisle 32: Kristen Dickison poured in 24 points and Madison Jones tacked on 10 for Milton-Union.

New Bremen 42, Coldwater 37: Lauren Gilliland led all scorers with 17 points but Coldwater fell victim to a New Bremen rally.

Newton 57, Mississinawa Valley 32: Brooke Deeter netted 20 points and Ally Weaver 10 for Newton. Kennedy Stachler scored 11 points for Mississinawa Valley.

Thurgood Marshall 34, Northridge 26: Taylor Dunson tallied 15 points for Thurgood Marshall.

Tri-Village 43, Franklin Monroe 40: Andi Bietry tallied 14 points for Tri-Village and Corina Conley carried FM with 15.

Wapakoneta 50, St. Marys 45: Kendall Dieringer totaled 14 points and Carly Caywood chipped in 11 in a losing effort for St. Marys.

West Liberty-Salem 65, Fairbanks 10: Gabby Hollar had 14 points, Selena Weaver 13, Emily Hollar 12 and Kelsey Day 11 to lead WLS.

West Liberty-Salem 1908, Greeneview 1888: Logan Tompkins bowled a 334 series for WLS and Braedan Brenneman had a 337 for Greeneview.

Girls Bowling

West Liberty-Salem 1817, Greeneview 1437: Hailey Clifford rolled a 347 series and Emma Hostetler added a 310 for WLS.
