HS Roundup 2/13: Carlisle’s Flor notches 1,000th career point

In a 63-60 victory over Twin Valley South, Carlisle’s Justin Flor notched his 1,000th career point.

Flor led the way for Carlisle with a game-high 21 points in the win.

Jonathan Shepherd tacked on 14.

Willie Bowman led Twin Valley South with 20 points in the losing effort.

Miamisburg 62, Fairborn 56: Jason Hubbard’s 29 points led Miamisburg in the win. Shaunn Monroe paced all scorers with 33 points for Fairborn.

Northmont 76, Bethel 63: Jabari Perkins tacked 17 points onto his season total for Northmont. Bethel’s Ryan Rose countered with 21 in the losing effort.

Piqua 84, Greenville 51: Hayden Schrubb sunk 21 points to lead in the win. Tyler Beyke netted 15 in the loss.

Sidney 36, Butler 34: Devan Rogers led Sidney with 10 points in the GWOC victory. Kort Justice put up 12 for Butler.

Troy 52, Tippecanoe 39: Jacob Martinez shot for 15 points in the Troy victory. Tyler Skaggs and Josh Wildermuth combined for 18 in the Tipp loss.

Xenia 88, West Carrollton 59: R.J. Hunter sunk 20 points in the Xenia win. Jayden Evans had 17 for West Carrollton.

Colerain 72, Lakota West 63: Matthew Oehler tallied 13 points for West in the loss. Mitchell Wagner tacked on 11 and Jared McCorkle 10.

Mason 77, Hamilton 66: D’Marco Howard added 23 points to his season total in the loss.

Oak Hills 38, Middletown 23: Aaron Jones netted 11 points for Middletown.

Princeton 56, Lakota East 41: Alex Mangold netted 12 points and eight rebounds for the near double-double in the losing effort.

Sycamore 53, Fairfield 48: Devin Turner recorded a double-double with 15 points and 15 rebounds in the Fairfield loss. Blake Spaulding tacked on 13 points.

Urbana 62, West Liberty-Salem 54: Levi Boettcher netted 23 points in the Urbana victory. James Loffing tallied 18 for WLS.

Edgewood 36, Lebanon 35: Ethan McCarthy paced all scorers with 12 points in the win. Zach Huffman poured in 11 for Lebanon.

Ross 44, Monroe 42: Landon Angel recorded 26 points, five rebounds and two steals in the Ross victory. Tristan Backas netted 13 points and seven rebounds in the losing effort.

Preble Shawnee 52, Bellbrook 49: Tyler Worley and Joey Bates combined for 32 points in the Preble win. Donnie Crouch added 18 points to his season total for Bellbrook.

Alter 72, Springboro 60: Derek Willits added 16 points to his season total in Alter’s seventh victory of the year. Kaleb Tabor paced all scorers with 21 points for ‘Boro.

Carroll 56, Valley View 50: Matt Cogan netted 18 points in the victory. Clayton Erbaugh tallied 15 for Valley View.

Triad 65, Madison Plains 44: Hadley LeVan broke the Triad career scoring record with his 1,475th career point in the win. LeVan led in the win with a game-high 25 points.

Arcanum 54, Milton-Union 45: Evan Atchley netted 15 points in the Arcanum victory. Caleb Wintrow shot for 18 in the losing effort.

National Trail 64, Brookville 60: Zach Wooddall recorded a career-high 22 points in the win.

Tri County North 55, Covington 42: Dillon McCullough’s 14 points led TCN in the win. Bradley Wiggings put up a game high 18 points in the loss.

Dayton Christian 69, Franklin Monroe 55: Dayton Christian used a 19-0 run in the second half to knock off FM. Matt Welker led the way with a game high 26 points in the win. Ethan Conley netted 16 in the losing effort.

Legacy Christian 68, Southeastern 48: Erik Uszynski netted 18 points to lead in the win. Owen Flannery contributed 14 points for Southeastern.

Yellow Springs 70, Graham 67: Yellow Springs overcame a 15 point deficit in the second half to earn the win. Brevan King led Graham with 17 points in the loss.

Girls Basketball

Lebanon 62, St. Ursula 39: Kendall Folley netted 14 points in the victory.

Coldwater 62, Elida 49: Grace Bruns led with 14 points as Coldwater remains undefeated in 2018. Olivia Harlamert added on 13 points and two assists.

Fort Loramie 49, Marion Local 24: Fort Loramie forced 28 turnovers in the win. Kenzie Hoelscher put up 12 points to lead, while Kelsey Koenig netted six in the loss.

New Bremen 47, Botkins 32: Kelly Naylor tallied 15 points for New Bremen in the win. Paige Lane countered with 15 of her own in the losing effort.
