Report: Urban Meyer may return to TV as college football analyst

Meyer worked for ESPN in 2011

Ohio State Buckeyes fans may see Urban Meyer quite a bit next fall after all.

Although Meyer stepped down as head coach after the Rose Bowl in January, according to a report by the Sporting News, he's close to taking a job with Fox Sports as an analyst in the booth at games or in the studio.

Meyer does have TV experience. He worked with ESPN in 2011 between his coaching jobs at Florida and Ohio State.

“ESPN has been an exceptional experience,” Meyer said in 2012 after accepting the job at Ohio State. “And I'm grateful for the opportunity.”
