Oklahoma notes: The Sooners have three Ohioans on the roster: linebacker Emmanuel Beal, of Everest High School in Columbus; offensive lineman Alex Dalton, of Troy; and walk-on long snapper Kasey Kelleher, of Woodridge High School in Peninsula. Dalton has appeared in 13 games in his career. He will miss this season after suffering a knee injury in the summer. … Oklahoma quarterback Baker Mayfield played only the first half against UTEP and threw for 329 yards and three touchdowns. … Tight end Mark Andrews had a career-high seven receptions. He has 57 catches in his career and 15 touchdowns. … Two true freshmen started for Oklahoma in the opener: wide receiver CeeDee Lamb and linebacker Kenneth Murray. … This is Oklahoma’s third non-conference, regular-season game against a top-10 team since 2000. It beat No. 5 Florida State 23-13 in 2011 and beat No. 5 Notre Dame 30-13 in 2012.
