Ohio State lands sixth recruit in 2020 class

Running back is from Scottsdale, Ariz.

The Ohio State Buckeyes landed their sixth 2020 recruit Wednesday night as running back Darvon Hubbard announced his verbal commitment.

A 6-foot-0, 200-pound running back from Chaparral High School in Scottsdale, Ariz., Hubbard is a four-star recruit ranks 232nd overall in the 2020 class, according to 247Sports.com, and 23rd at his position. He's a teammate of another Ohio State recruit from the 2020 class: quarterback Jack Miller.

In addition to Hubbard and Miller, Ohio State now has commitments in the 2020 class from the following players: Paris Johnson Jr., an offensive tackle from Cincinnati St. Xavier; Jake Wray, an offensive tackle from Marietta, Ga.; and Lejond Cavazos, a cornerback from IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla.; and Luke Wypler, an offensive guard from Montvale, N.J.

Ohio State’s 2020 class ranks second behind the University of Miami, according to 247Sports.com.
