Britain's The Sun newspaper published what it said are the final images of boxing legend Muhammad Ali, who died last week at the age of 74.

The images, by British photographer Zenon Texeira, show Ali - who battled Parkinson's for three decades - with raised fists and slight smile.

Texeira told  The Sun that he snapped the images in Phoenix days before Ali's hospitalization. He said Ali was so frail he had to be helped into a chair.

Texeira said: “I knew I was in the presence of greatness.”

"These unique portraits add to the giant tapestry of imagery that recorded the champ's life," Texeira told The Sun.

That's not the feeling shared by many on social media, who have criticized the British tabloid for ruining Ali's legacy.
