The No. 8 Buckeyes (10-2) have won 36 Big Ten titles, but only one in the first five seasons of the Meyer era. They seek their first since 2014 on Saturday night, playing No. 4 Wisconsin (12-0) at Lucas Oil Stadium.
“How do you measure a quarterback? Championships,” Meyer said Friday. “How do you measure a great tailback? Championships. And great teams? Championships. And we haven't been here in (three) years. So it's a great opportunity, and they want to be a part of that.”

This will be Meyer’s third Big Ten Championship game. He led the Florida Gators to the SEC Championship game three times, and they won two.

Asked to compare the SEC and Big Ten title games, Meyer said Friday, “I know this sold out pretty quickly, with everything I've heard. The fans are fantastic. I commend Atlanta because that's where the SEC is and just the way they treat the players and the hospitality in Indianapolis is on par with that. I even told our players today, for those that were with me before when we came — and there's a handful — the stadium takes your breath away a little bit, the way you're treated. So enjoy it. But best way to enjoy is prepare the best you can and go play well.”
