All three injured players are eligible to return to practice. Thompson’s status isn’t contingent on anything other than medical clearance, but the Bengals will have to choose between Jackson (chest) and Peerman (forearm) as teams can only bring one player back from IR.
The Bengals can make the decision between Jackson and Peerman at any point, but the clock is ticking on Thompson, who tore his ACL in the 2015 season finale.
The team has until the Tuesday after Week 11 (Nov. 22) to return Thompson to practice or place him on season-ending IR. If Thompson returns to practice, the Bengals have three weeks to add him to the active 53-man roster, waive him or place him on season-ending IR.
