Bengals sign former Falcons safety to practice squad

The Cincinnati Bengals filled their vacancy on the practice squad Wednesday with the signing of safety Robenson Therezie.

A third-year player from Auburn, Therezie signed with the Atlanta Falcons as a college free agent in 2015. He also spent some time with the New Orleans Saints in 2016 but was not been with a team during the 2017 regular season.

The 5-foot-9, 212-pound Therezie has appeared in 25 games with two starts, all with the Falcons. He had 32 tackles, an interception and two passes defended.

He fills the opening created Saturday when the Bengals promoted cornerback Tony McRae from the practice squad after placing cornerback Adam Jones on season-ending Injured Reserve.
