» Honor: Greater Miami Conference Coach of the Year. Season: Led the Thunderhawks to a 20-6 record, a first-place finish in the GMC and the program’s third Division I regional appearance. Adkins owns a 92-34 record in five seasons at East. Teaching job: U.S. history, sociology

Jared Lee, New Miami

» Season: Directed the Vikings to a 16-10 record, a third-place finish in the Miami Valley Conference Gray Division and a spot in the Division IV district finals. It was the first winning season at New Miami since 2002-03. Lee has a 23-26 record in two seasons with the Vikings. Teaching job: Government, world history
