Gray, Claudia Jean

Claudia Jean Gray, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, left this world peacefully on December 6, 2024, in Kettering, Ohio, at the age of 86. She was born on September 24, 1938, in Middletown, Ohio. Claudia practiced with compassion and commitment as a registered nurse and social worker at Kettering Medical Center. Her hobbies included casinos, antiquing, lottery scratch off tickets and Mahjong. She is survived by her son, Fred (Bertie) Gray; her daughter, Sharon (Don) Lambert; her granddaughters, Leigh Ann Nicole Bishop and Gracie Renae Lambert; grandson, Taylor Ramey; great-grandson, Brian Bishop; great-nephews, Austin Daniel Haddix, and Cody Lee Short, as well as her dear friend, Don Wilson. She is preceded in death by her parents, Harlan Albert Carr and Freda Lorena Carr; her late husband, Freddie Gene Gray; her daughter, Lorena Suzanne Gray; her sister, Carole Jane Carr; her niece, Lisa Diane Ferguson; sister-in-law, Joyce Gray and her great-nephew, Tyler James Haddix. A graveside service will be held at 12 PM on Saturday, December 21, 2024 at Highland Memorial Gardens (723 Upper Miamisburg Rd., Miamisburg, OH 45342).
