West Chester sports bar repairing, renovating following partial ceiling collapse

Fricker’s at 7844 Kingland Drive in West Chester Twp. was evacuated the afternoon of Jan. 22 when a sprinkler line ruptured, collapsing a part of the ceiling and causing water damage inside the restaurant.

Restaurant officials told this news outlet that they didn’t have a specific date for the grand opening, but that it was hoped it could occur “as soon as possible.” A Feb. 12 Facebook posting by the restaurant said a reopening was “still a few weeks away.”

Fricker’s debuted in West Chester Twp. in early 2013.

The restaurant chain has two other locations, one at 4810 Roosevelt Blvd. in Middletown and the other at 8850 Governor’s Hill Drive in Deerfield Twp.
