Adrian Martinez, 44, of Saginaw was charged with online solicitation of a child.
A spokeswoman Thursday confirmed that Martinez had been an employee with the department since May 2016, the newspaper reported. He was removed from caseworker duties and placed on administrative leave, KDFW reported.
"We are cooperating fully with law enforcement," CPS spokeswoman Marissa Gonzalez told the Star-Telegram.
Gonzales said Martinez was a conservatorship caseworker. His job was to monitor the care of children placed in the Department of Family and Protective Service’s legal custody, the newspaper reported.

Martinez is being held on a $5,000 bond in the Tarrant County Jail, KDFW reported.
